Starwood Hotels and Resorts is searching for its hotels in Milan Area:

Convention Manager

Working within the Sales team, this position has responsibility for responding to all Group and Event enquiries in order to maximize revenue & utilization of meeting space; working to ensure, at a minimum, delivery of budgeted revenues.

The Convention Manager will manage and convert all business, including contracting, prior to hand over to Operations, in addition to managing group room and function diary inventory.

He/she must demonstrate high energy levels & provide consistently high communication and negotiations skills, in accordance with our Standards & Programs.

Moreover, he/she manages the day to day operation of the Events, Meeting and Banqueting, providing support and guidance to fellow banquet personnel to ensure a successful and effective operation ending in a positive guest experience.

Pro-active attitude, hard work and team work will be useful to ensure profitability and Guest Satisfaction.

She/He will work with her/his team and all departments to implement strategies to enhance customer service and core standards, delivering outstanding customer service.

Requisiti

Key attributes:

  • Educated to Degree or equivalent;

  • At least 5 years experience in Events or Sales team;

  • Excellent level (or mother tongue) of knowledge in English: written and verbal;

  • Knowledge of a second language is preferred
