Our client: a company leader in the field of tourism, with headquarters in Genoa (Italy)

We have to search: a 2 nd Maitre, directly responding to the 1st Maitre, responsibilities include the organization of specific dining outlets onboard of a Cruise Ships.

The place: on board

The job: . Directly responding to the 1st Maitre, responsibilities : to ensure that all guests receive the highest possible standard of service and food, to assist the Maitre D’Hotel on the supervision of all food services, to keep tight control of restaurant equipment, to train waiters, ass. waiters and snack stewards in order to behaviour to keep, to be constantly informed by the waiters about the guests’ requests requiring extra food orders or special orders, to be responsible for all special diets of his station’s guests, to supervise the service delivered on his station during each meal, to verify that all USPHS rules are followed, to supervise the quality of the service provided on his station and constantly follows the wine service, to elaborate the evaluations of the personnel under his responsibility.

The profile : He/she will have 2/3 years experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry, in structures of 80/100 covers, fine dining silver service. He/she has a diploma of Hotel/Tourism/Restaurant Management School. He/she has good computer skills, fluent Italian and English (other European languages are a plus). He/she knows the USPH legislation.

For this position is essential:

- to have a good relationship skills, outgoing character, and a polite behaviour.
- to be used to work in team and to egg on their own colleagues.
Employment contract : embarkation contract : 5 months.
