Chef de Partie

The chef de partie will be responsible of a department under the supervision of the Sous Chef to whom he should refer.

Duties and Responsibilities


- Support the sous chef in selecting food supplies, optimising their usage and storage.


- Assist and direct the demi chef and the commis, making sure tasks are executed correctly and staff is trained correctly

- Prepare food according to the agreed preparation and presentation and quality standards

- Make sure that clients are served high quality food within allocated time period

- He / she should be versatile and dynamic and thus able to quickly deal with urgent needs not necessarily related to hei/her specific working sector.

- Manage stressful situations and be very supportive towards team members

- Comply with HACCP hygene standards

- Display leadership and team spirit

- Put into practice safety standards within the kitchen area

Requisiti

Si richiede una comprovata esperienza pluriennale in alberghi 5* L, dinamismo, proattività e conoscenza della lingua inglese.

SKILLS

the Chef de Partie should have several or all skills and competences listed below.

- Be passionate about cooking

- Care about his/her own personal hygiene.

- Be knowledgeable of all hygiene rules

- Be flexible and able to manage work shifts within 24 hours.

- Possess the various competences and scheduled activities

- Be able to work under stressful conditions

- Display good written and verbal communications skills in Italian and English


Qualifications

Proven experience in various fields of hospitality covering a similar role within 5 star luxury hotels is required. Being dynamic, pro-active and fluent in English are other essential skills
